perspectives ignite inspiration. With the merger of VMLY&R and
Wunderman Thompson, we have forged a new path as a growth partner

powerhouse.

offices in 64 markets, each contributing to a culture that values
connection, belonging, and the power of differences. Our expertise
spans the entire customer journey, offering deep insights in

and technology. We deliver end-to-end solutions that result in
revolutionary work.
Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking an experienced Senior Motion Designer to join our
team. As a Senior Motion Designer, you will collaborate with a
collection of creative thinkers united by the simple passion for
making things better. In this role, you'll produce broadcast work,
as well as content for social platforms, websites and other digital
and interactive media. You should possess a strong voice and the
ability to recognize how social media can be leveraged to enhance
and drive big campaign ideas across all social and digital
platforms. You geek out on the myriad ways in which tech and data
can be used to push the boundaries of digital & social advertising,
all while understanding that emotion is ultimately at the heart of
all successful ideas.
As part of the integrated production team, you'll find storytelling
is at the core of everything you do. We'll expect you to stay ahead
of current interactive technologies and trends as well as
incorporate them into your daily work.
To be considered for this role, you must submit an online portfolio
and include the link to your reel with your submission.
What you'll do:
- Craft - Conceptualize new solutions for a digital world.
Working closely with an Art Director, Copywriter, User Experience
Designer, Animator and other members of the team, the Designer
designs for a variety of platforms from concept through
completion.
- Collaborate - Partner with the creative leads to concept,
design, present, and defend work while addressing client needs.
You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the agency
to ensure timely deliverables. We're working with a lot of unknowns
- you must be a champion of team environments that are comfortable
with ambiguity and encourage collaboration, especially working
cross-discipline.
- Lead & Innovate - Exemplify fearlessness in the face of the
undefined and a passion for bringing order through design
exploration. Concept and collaborate on campaign ideas, social
tactics, and other marketing activations with a creative team while
working on multiple projects. Bring proactive ideas to the
table.
Who you are:
- A builder - Innovator with a desire to bring people together.
Innate ability to marshal people and create gravity around
ideas.
- Passionate about creativity - Your partnership with creatives
and ability to inspire ideas through execution is what gets you out
of bed in the morning.
- An experimenter - Embrace the unknown and ready to break
process. You'll be excited by opportunities to explore new ideas
rather than rely on existing paradigms, and you view technology as
a tool that can drive this creativity. Able to learn and adapt to
new technologies and trends.
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 5 years of design experience within a social or
digital agency environment, or equivalent.
- Mastery-level skills in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya or
other 3D package.
- Sense of curiosity, desire to learn and constantly
improve.
- Ability to self-motivate and keep the project moving,
especially when working solo.
- Adapt as creative assignments change and evolve, while
maintaining quality.
- Must be a quick thinker, able to develop concepts and carry out
creative design solutions on a tight schedule.
- Ability to work under both strict or minimal
direction.
- Exhibits grace under pressure, great people skills and utmost
integrity.
- Knowledge and experience of the finishing process.
- High level understanding of codecs, raw video files, exporting,
transcoding and compression.
- Organized, dependable, knowledgeable and detail
oriented.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive attitude and capacity for thinking above and beyond
the clients' initial ask.
What we offer:
- Passionate, driven people - We champion a culture of people
that do extraordinary work.
- Consciously cultivated culture - We aim to embody the behaviors
to build an inclusive community that is in it together, bringing
both positivity and active listening into the workplace as we
simultaneously strive to empower creative bravery.
- Competitive benefits - What we offer full time hires ranges
from the full spectrum of group health coverage options (medical,
dental, vision) to a generous 401k match (100% dollar-for-dollar
match, up to 5% of salary contribution), and a variety of paid time
off offerings that reflect our investment in all aspects of your
overall life balance and wellness.
- Growth-minded opportunities - We aim to nurture a culture of
real-time feedback, growth-oriented mindset and plenty of training
opportunities through VML and WPP, so you can continue to grow
personally and professionally.
