*Responsibilities: *The Mental Health Clinician provides crisis intervention both by phone and face-to face with individuals and families as appropriate. The Clinician collects information to determine specific needs and desires for purposes of referral to appropriate services and/or more in-depth assessment. Other functions include hospitalization screens, knowledge of, and referral to community resources, and documentation of all clinical interventions on appropriate forms. The position requires flexibility, reliability, clinical competence, and the ability to work closely with consumers, families, and professionals within and outside the organization. Supervision is provided by the Crisis and intake Program Coordinator-Crisis.Job Requirements:This position requires at least a Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychiatric Nursing, with a current Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board or Board of Nursing license. One (1) year post degree experience in the mental health field with experience assessing and diagnosing mental health disorders is preferred. Must have Eligibility of Title XIX reimbursement is required. Relevant experience is desirable and may be required, depending on the Centers needs. This position requires knowledge of basic computer skills. Must be 18 years of age or older and be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen. Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle. Must be able to perform the day-to-day physical requirements of the position, including data entry into various computer software programs and frequent movement and travel to various community agencies.Pay: $26.56 - $44.14 per hourSchedule:* Evening shift* On call* Weekends as neededApplication Question(s):* Do you have any of the following licensures?
